Το Κατάρ απορρίπτει πλήρως τις ισραηλινές δηλώσεις σχετικά με την προσάρτηση εδαφών στον νότιο Λίβανο και στη Λωρίδα της Γάζας, ανακοίνωσε το υπουργείο Εξωτερικών της χώρας.
Σε ανακοίνωσή του στην πλατφόρμα X, το υπουργείο χαρακτήρισε τις ισραηλινές δηλώσεις «κατάφωρη πρόκληση για το διεθνές δίκαιο και τα σχετικά διεθνή ψηφίσματα».
Παράλληλα, κάλεσε τη διεθνή κοινότητα να «αναλάβει τις ευθύνες της» και να υποχρεώσει το Ισραήλ να σταματήσει τα σχέδια που χαρακτήρισε «επεκτατικά», καθώς και την πολιτική εποικισμού στα κατεχόμενα παλαιστινιακά εδάφη.
Στην ανακοίνωση, το Κατάρ επαναβεβαίωσε την «αταλάντευτη στήριξή του στον παλαιστινιακό αγώνα», ζητώντας τον τερματισμό της κατοχής και την ίδρυση ανεξάρτητου παλαιστινιακού κράτους στα σύνορα του 1967, με πρωτεύουσα την Ανατολική Ιερουσαλήμ.
Επανέλαβε, επίσης, τη στήριξή του στον Λίβανο και στην «κυριαρχία του επί του συνόλου των εδαφών του»
Statement | Qatar Rejects Israeli Statements on Annexing Areas in Southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip

The State of Qatar expresses its categorical rejection of Israeli statements regarding the annexation of areas in southern Lebanon and areas extending to the ‘Yellow Line’ in the Gaza Strip, describing them as a blatant challenge to international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and compel the Israeli occupation government to halt its expansionist plans and settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the fraternal Palestinian people, based on ending the occupation and enabling the Palestinian people to attain their legitimate rights, foremost among them the establishment of an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. It also reaffirms Qatar’s steadfast position toward the fraternal Republic of Lebanon and its sovereignty over its entire territory.#MOFAQatar
